Produced by the Wagner Ranch Parents Club
Annie JR. follows the story of an orphan named Annie living a “hard-knock life” at The New York City Municipal Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie dreams of being reunited with her parents and takes action to find them. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Roosevelt and finds a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Welcome to this year's 4th & 5th grade school musical, Annie, Jr.! All 4th and 5th graders are invited to participate in the theater program, which offers the students the opportunity to perform on stage. CAST AUDITIONS:Wed/Thurs, Oct 4th & 5th, 3-4:30 PM
Wed/Thurs, Oct 11th &12th, 3-4:30 PMStudents are encouraged to attend as many audition dates as possible. The first four meetings with the cast will be treated as workshops/auditions. We will use this time to get to know each other and the play, teach everyone pieces of music, dances, and work on small portions of the script. Actors will have the opportunity to review these materials at home, then perform them individually and in small groups so the creative team can best assign roles. Materials will be available before the first day of workshops if students want to prepare, but there is no need to memorize. Even if a student is not available for all four of the workshops, we'll be sure they get the chance to audition and be seen by the creative team.
Crew does not need to audition.

CAST LIST
We are so excited to start working with these two casts to create this show! Casting this was made so difficult by how incredibly each actor has performed the past two weeks. We were taking into account auditions, things we've seen in our workshops, and the actors' schedules and conflicts. As we've told the students before, these roles are just a jumping off point and we will give solos and lines out to people who are demonstrating that they can take on more throughout rehearsals.
We understand that casting can be a very sensitive subject. Above all, we are building an ensemble that will work together to tell this story. Every single actor is needed and integral to that process. We can't wait to begin the week of Oct 16, Wednesday or Thursday, 3-4:30 PM.
